DIR diving is a fast growing approach to diving. Be it technical or recreational,

DIRX is a DIR diving forum run by DIR divers for both DIR divers and those who are interested
in learning more about our approach to diving. There is a lot of information around

which each of us can use.

Hello,
My name is Jan, 40 years old from the Netherlands.
I started diving in 2007 and now i am a PADI assistant instructor and this year i want to do GUE-F.
My dive gear at this moment is completely recreational but i hope in a few months time to buy a full D12 DIR set.
So in the mean time i am searching for info and cant wait to start with the fundies.

Hi Folks!
My name is Eddie, I live in Bonito, South Mato Grosso - Central Brazil.
Here we have lots of underwater caves. We started to explore them in 1995 and still finding new ones.
Also I´m a Biologist specialized in cave fauna and conservation.
Hope to meet some old time friends and make some new ones .

Have noticed that I've been extreamly lazy and lurked rather than posted, and without even an introduction either!
I am an English diver based in Egypt, and have been living here for the last six years.
I'm lucky to be able to dive almost everyday since moving to Egypt, and have been diving since 1995.
I am really into technical diving, both exploring and teaching, mostly here in the Middle East.

My name is Jorgo, I'm Greek and living in Germany at Frankfurt/M. My OWD examination with SSI was in May 2009. Diving got passion, In October I logged my 228th dive at Bodensee. Hi Everyone,
I seen a thread I wanted to reply to on your board, so I thought I would come register.
I own a small diving company in Phuket Thailand, working repairing equipment, also as a Liveaboard Tourleader and Guide out in the Similan Islands, I also own and operate "Tibby-Adapters" that let you use a Zulu / Nato type strap on Suunto D6's and soon the D9's as well.

Hi
My wife and I recently completed a trimix course with HP in Malta. A great course and really surprised at the great diving in Malta. Hoping to expand our diving beyond our club, so hope to book onto some trips next year.
